Hair and Facial Plastic Surgery

How does one decide to sub-specialize in facial plastic and hair restoration surgery?  From as long as I can remember, I wanted to practice medicine and help people. I became very interested in plastic surgery because the ability to solve problems with one’s hands and knowledge is incredible. I was most interested in helping people with concerns of the face, since one cannot hide the face. During my training, the realization that a perfect face with imperfect hair was an incomplete result. Helping my patients have beautiful, lasting hair is beyond important for men and for women. In particular, I was fascinated by the prevalent yet hidden world of female hair loss. As such, I decided to focus only on facial plastics and hair restoration, and I do not perform body plastic surgery. My aesthetic eye and mastery to perform facial plastic and hair restoration surgery complement each other and allow me to provide a complete result for my patients.
