About Benjamin Paul, M.D.

Dr. Benjamin Paul is a Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon who practices in Manhattan alongside internationally renowned Dr. David Rosenberg and Dr. Jessica Lattman. Dr. Paul is known for exceptional talent in rhinoplasty, facelift and eyelid surgery, and hair restoration.

Dr. Paul prides himself on delivering natural, long-lasting results with no evidence of surgery and minimal down time. Widely published, Dr. Paul has made great strides regarding techniques and improvements in facial plastic surgery and has further lectured at over 30 conferences in the past decade.

Trained by the very best in Manhattan and Chicago, Dr. Paul completed the prestigious Honors Program in Medical Education at Northwestern University where he earned his his undergraduate and medical degree. After college, Dr. Paul went on to complete his general surgery internship, otolaryngology-head and neck surgery residency, and facial plastic and reconstructive surgery fellowship at New York University.

Performed outcomes based research following medical crural complex repositioning to assess change and control of nasal tip projection. Additionally, completed a case report regarding an important ophthalmologic cause of epiphora, conjunctivochalasis, which may be provoked following blepharoplasty

NYUMC Voice Center in conjunction with NYU Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Laboratory. Preceptors Milan Amin MD and Ryan Branski PhD. Evaluated vocal fold inflammation with an aim to reduce scaring via the development of novel therapeutics involving small interfering RNA directed toward SMAD-3, an upstream molecule in the TGF-B pathway. Research included project design, cellular lab bench-work, and survival surgery on rabbits and rats.

Philanthropy At Home


2014 – present, Attending Surgeon at Bellevue Hospital. Dr. Paul provides facial plastic and reconstructive surgical aid to the underserved of NYC while teaching the next generation of residents and fellows his craft.

Hobbies and Interests


1998–present, Member of Northwestern University National College Squash Team Competed throughout the United States including at Nationals each year.
– 2005: Awarded the Barnaby Trophy for the most improved team in all of College Squash.
– 2005: Awarded Most Valuable Player; Northwestern University Squash Team.
– 2002-2005: Awarded the Scholar Athlete Award by the College Squash Association during each year of play.
