Removal of a Forehead Osteoma

The following patient had a forehead osteoma. This lesion presented as a firm, immobile bump that slowly grew on the forhead. This was comsetically concerning as it was noticed in every photo. A CT scan confirmed the diagnosis as shown.

The patient was able to have his osteoma removed through a scalp incision within the hair. An endoscope was used to visualize the bony bump. The ostoma was shaved. The patient did great and the incision is hidden within the hair.
