This patient is 4 months after revision rhinoplasty. The patient had a reductive rhinoplasty by a different surgeon many years ago that healed poorly. The columella (skin between the nostrils) had a lot of scar tissue and contracture. This led to asymmetry on front view as well as scar visible along the rim of the nostril on side view. The nose was fully rebuilt with irradiated rib grafting for tip support and revised columellar cartilage (medial crural cartilage) positioning. The patient is thrilled with her result.
